Conclusion and Additional Informational Videos
In Conclusion, performing your own maintenance on your guitar or bass does not have to be expensive or take up a lot of time. As long as you choose the right type of strings for your tuning, everything should go smoothly. Bass strings come in four different types; Roundwound, Flatwound (good for fretless basses), Half Round, and Tapewound. String Choice is usually determined by what type of bass you play, and by the genre of music you wish to play. I play both fretted and fretless bass, so I use both flatwound and roundwound strings.
